Abstract

AIM: To develop the assay of curcumol in Baofukang Suppository by capillary GC. METHODS: GC Internal standard method was used to determine curcumol in Baofukang Suppository with capillary column. RESULTS: In the assay, curcumol and the internal standard are both well separated from other substances. A good linear relationship is obtained in the range of 0.1~0.5μg(r=0.9995). The RSD of precision, repeatability and recovery are all less than 3%. CONCLUSION: The method is accurate, reliable, and repeatable, suitable for the assay of the preparation and curcuma oil.
