Analysis on Temporal and Spatial Pressure Index of Cultivated Lands in Shandong Province

Based on the theory and model of the per capita minimal area of cultivated land and the pressure index of cultivated land,this paper analyzed the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of pressure index of cultivated land in Shandong Province between 2000 and 2008.The result showed that cultivated land quantity was fluctuated,and population keep on increasing in Shandong Province,but the cultivated land productivity and the grain yield was unceasingly increases,the pressure index of cultivated land was gradually decreased in general.Pressure index of cultivated land and the pressure was high between 2000 and 2002,which was reduced year by year since 2002.Analysis shows that cultivated lands productive forces and the actual area of cultivated land average per person are the predominant factors which effect the index of pressure.According to the present situation,some suggestions are proposed in order to reduce the cultivated lands pressure.
