On the Thought of Dialectics Embodied in Zeng's Military Strategies

Zeng Guo-fan,a scholar in Neo-Confucius,also engaged himself into military activities,being no expert in army commanding,he had,with many years' practices,come up to his unique military strategies among which the thought of simple dialectics has had profound influence on modern military strategies.In terms of strategic conduct,he advocated that we should prepare the war based on the actual situation,In terms of strategic attitude,he proposed that we should be I-centered and should emphasize on flexibility in stability.And he viewed up-to-down control and priority on big goals regardless of the small.
