Abstract
A heat treatment process was studied on high chromium cast iron containing element Ti.The results show that,HRC hardness and impact toughness of the specimens are higher after heat treatment of water quenching at 910 ℃ and tempering at 260 ℃ for 2 h than as-cast,respectively 62.5 HRC and 11.6 J/cm2.With the increase of quenching temperature, tempering martensite microstructure is more coarse. The carbide precipitation of long needle and the split of matrix increases,so the impact toughness decreases.
