Abstract

The polyclonal antibody was prepared by immunizing New Zealand rabbits with bovine αs-casein.Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays(ELISA) was developed for bovine αs-casein.The standard curve was linear between 25 and 1 200 ng/mL with regression coefficients 0.9825.The recovery rates were between 91.97%~115.61%.It is proved that using ELISA can determinate the content of bovine αs-casein easily and effectively.Because the content of αs-casein is so steady that its content can be calculated easily.Obviously, this method can be determined the adulteration of raw milk and quantified the content of bovine αs-casein.
