With General Well-being Scale,Eysenck Personality Questionnaire,Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Checklist,Social Support Rating Scale, and Coping Style Questionnaire, mental state was evaluated among students from seven-year medical higher education program,five-year medical undergraduate education program, and the independent subordinate college. The results indicate that compared with the undergraduates of the other two levels, the students from the seven-year medical higher education program had significantly increased life events and social support. On the other hand, there was no significant difference among students of the three levels with regard to the state of general well-being,personality characteristics, and coping styles.
