Abstract

Objective To observe the change of vascular endothelium function in hypertensive patients with hyperlipidemia and the intervention effect of atorvastatin. Methods The vascular endothelium function was detected in 196 hypertensive patients with hyperlipidemia(observation group) and 64 control cases(control group).Patients in observation group were randomly divided into two groups, patients in non-atortastatin group recieved conventional treatment, and patients in atorvastatin group were treated with atorvastatin(20 mg,qd) on the basis of conventional therapy. The clinical effect and vascular endothelium function before and after treatment were observed. Results The levels of IMT,FMD and NMD in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P0.05).The total effective rate in atorvastatin group was significantly higher than that in non-atorvastatin group(P0.05).The levels of IMT,FMD and NMD in atorvastatin group were significantly lower than those in non-atorvastatin group after treatment(P0.05).Conclusion The vascular endothelium function is degraded in hypertensive patients with hyperlipidemia, and atorvastatin can improve the vascular endothelium function and clinical effects.
