Abstract
Objective To investigate the levels of Hs-CRP and lipoprotein of ACS patients and the effects of atorvastatin. Methods 69 ACS patients were randomly divided into atorvastatin group(n=40) and routine group(n=29).The serum Hs-CRP and lipoprotein were measured in 69 patients with ACS and 30 controls before and after treatment. Results The serum Hs-CRP levels were significantly higher in the ACS groups than in the control group, closely related to the severity of ACS.After two-week treatment with atorvastatin, the serum Hs-CRP levels were significantly decreased in the atorvastatin groups. Conclusion The serum Hs-CRP levels are closely related to ACS,and the anti-inflammatory effect of atorvastatin plays an important role in the early treatment of ACS.
