Abstract
Rolling tension is a very important parameter which should be controlled strictly in the production process of cold rolling strip.Study on the rolling tension can offer the theoretical foundation for guiding practice of steel enterprise.By finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA,we established the three-dimensional model, and imitated the rolling processes through changing forward tension and backward tension.Through observing the change of rolling force and strip shape carefully,we draw the following conclusion: the change of tension can change rolling force obviously;the influence of backward tension on rolling force is greater than that of forward tension.
