Abstract
As it is difficult to obtain the metal movement inside the rolling piece in the actual hot-strip rolling production process by experimental methods,ANSYS/LS-DYNA as the large-scale finite element analysis software is adopted to simulate the influence of tension produced in hot strip rolling process on metal movement inside the rolling piece.The influence law of tension on the metal movement inside the rolling piece was obtained by the analyzsis of node displacement vector and rolling force in hot strip rolling process.The calculated result coincides basically with the spot data.It provides a reference for the design of the rolling process.
