Abstract
By comparing the standards of land expropriation both in China and abroad,this paper believes that the orientation of reform of the current standard for the land expropriation in China is:(1)to analyze the structure of the mechanism and to reconstruct the system of land expropriation from the angle of property rights,value,and function of farmland;(2) to set up the mechanism of compensation according to the priceto adapt to the market economy;(3) to construct a uniform price system for both commonweal land and non-commonweal land;and(4)to establish the standard of land expropriation according to the regional differences,and to attach importance to the impact of regional differences on the standard.
