Abstract
Objectives With questionnaire-based survey on adult students of higher medical education,the article is to analyze their evaluations on teaching arrangement,curricula program and teaching effects.methods A questionnaire-based survey was made among all adult students enrolled in School of Continuous Education,Nanjing Medical University in 2002 to 2005.Results Most students feel satisfactory with teaching effects and think curricula program is totally rational.Main dissatisfactions of students are about course structure and teaching contents.They hope to increase teaching time on specialized courses and attach greater importance to practice arrangement.Specialized courses should lay stress on new development in medical field and combine closely with health service activities.Policy recommendations Higher medical education for adults should program and adjust teaching plan and syllabus to meet the demands of knowledge updating and skill improving of health professionals.
