Panel reaction antibody and organ transplantation

Panel reaction antibody(PRA) were proven as the most important factor in transplantation.Investigations demonstrated that the generation of rejection was mediated by humoral immunity.PRA analysis reflects the sensitization status of human leucocyte antigen (HLA) in recipient pretransplant,predicts the prevalence of rejection,and hints the transplant loss posttransplant.The utilized of PRA significantly depressed the incidence of organ transplantation.Recently,more researchers turned their interest to the effect and prospective application of PRA,especially donor-specific antibodies(DSA),in organ transplantation such as kidney transplantation,cardiac transplantation, and lung transplantation is warrant being investigated.This article reviews the association of PRA against organ transplantation.
