In the past hundred years since the excavation of inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells and oracle inscriptions on tortoise shells or animal bones in the Yin ruins in 1899,the historical materials have multiplied and the in-depth studies have been conducted.The social nature of the Shang Dynasty is becoming a difficult issue in the historical study of the pre-Qin days.The study of the social nature in the Shang Dynasty is of realistic significance to the mastery of the developing patterns of history in the pre-Qin days and to the understanding of the transition of ethnic cultures.At the same time,this study will be of great help to the final solution to the divisions of ancient Chinese history.
