A Degree Adverb “Lao” in Jiyuan Dialect of Henan Province

Abstract
Lao,a degree adverb in Jiyuan dialect,is analyzed from two aspects of the syntax and semantic:From the syntax,the degree adverb lao can be used to modify adjectives,verbs and verb phrases,and used with the negative adverb bu;While in the semantics,the adverb of degree lao can be used not only to represent some certain degree,but also contain the speaker's subjective emotional colors to some extent.
