The comparison of different methods to treat with the patients with depression accompanied by hypertension

Objective To observe the efficacy of different methods to treat with the patients with depression accompanied by hypertension.Methods 90 cases with depression accompanied by hypertension were randomly divided into nifedipine group(group A),fluoxetine group(group B) and nifedipine+fluoxetine group(group C),and each group had 30 cases,and then observed the treatment for 8 weeks.Results After treatment for 8 weeks,the blood pressure of group A and group C had decreased,and there was statistically significant than the pre-therapy(P0.05),the blood pressure of group B also had decreased,however,there was no statistically significant(P0.05);after treatment,the pairwise comparisons of SBP and DBP,there was statistically significant(P0.05),and blood pressure in group C decreased more significantly than the other groups.HAMD score: the HAMD scores of group B and group C for pre-therapy had significant difference than post-therapy(P0.05or0.01);after treatment,the HAMD scores of group C was significantly higher than group A and group B(P0.01),and group B was significantly higher than group A(P0.05).Conclusion The antidepressant treatment while giving antihypertensive therapy for the patients with depression accompanied by hypertension can significantly improve the symptoms of depression and the blood pressure.
