Translation of Poet's Soul and Poetic imagery and Flavor—On the Strategy of Poetry Translation

This essay firstly affirms the poetry translatability from theoretical and practical aspects.Based on this,it comes up the view that the soul of poets and the imagery of poetry are the soul of poetry,and the poetic flavor is the essence of poetry.Thus the soul and essence should be rendered in translation,ie.translation of poet's soul,poetic imagery and poetic flavor.The theory with examples is discussed as a strategy of poetry translation in this essay.
