Abstract

Objective To discuss and evaluate the correlation of high sensitive C reactive protein(hs-CRP) and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) and diastolic heart failure. Methods BNP and hs-CRP levels of 50 patients with heart failure patients before and after treatment were measured respectively, and compared with 50 healthy persons. Results Plasma hs-CRP and BNP levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group with significant difference(P 0.01);plasma BNP and hs-CRP levels in NYHA class Ⅳ patients were higr than those in Class Ⅲ patients with significant difference(P 0.01).Plasma hs-CRP and BNP level in observation group with the cardiac function of Ⅰ-Ⅱ level decreased compared with before treatment, differences were significant(P 0.01).The serum BNP levels of patient in observation group had positively correlation with hs-CRP.Conclusion The levels of plasma hs-CRP and BNP increase when heart failure occurs, they increase with the degree of cardiac function damages, while they decrease significantly after treatment, which indicates that the levels of plasma hs-CRP and BNP can reflect the changes degree of heart failure disease.
