Abstract

Objective To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of the shigella in Simao region and provide science basis for clinical treatment. Methods Based on the procedure identification of enterobacteria the bacteria were isolated,identified and sussceptibility test was also carried out. Results Shigella was divided into 4 floras and 16 serotpes.Shigella B occupied 88.4%,among them shigella fiexneri 2a occupied 66.3%.Shigella D occupied 6.6%. Shigella C occupied 3.2% and Shigella A only occupied 1.8%.Susceptibility test discover that shigella is aesonynomenous for ciprofloxacin.Gentamycin sulfate,Norfloxacin,Amikacin sulfate,Polymyxin B sulfate.Shigella is drugfast for Erythromycin,Ampicillin,Neomycin sulfate and SMZ. Conclusion Shigella B is the main of flora in Simao region and shigella flexneri 2a is dominante.Drug resistance of shigella is increasing and new resistaot strains have been discovered.
