Abstract
Objective:To appraise the effect of adopting biocalc-dexamethasone paste to seal off the root canal on preventing from endodontic interappomtment emergencies. Methods:200 cases of chronic periapical periodontitis,pulp necrosis,remaining root and remaining crowns that needed to treat the root canal were divided in two groups randomly. One group used biocalc-dexamethasone pasteas as seal off medicine,the control group used FC. Each group had 100 samples. Results:Acute disease incidence in experimental groups was 4%,obviously lower than 28% in control group. Conclusion:Biocalc-dexamethasene paste can effectively prevent endodontic interappomtmentemergencies.
