Abstract
This study was conducted to compare the mRNA abundant of eIF4E,PPARGC-1,VEGFA and C-Jun gene of longissimus dorsi muscle in different domestic pigs.Those genes,respectively related to protein synthesis,energy metabolism,vascularization and cell proliferation,were selected from mTOR pathway and its related pathways,then real-time RT-PCR was applied to compare the interspecific difference of their mRNA of longissimus dorsi muscle in Lantang,Landrace and Large White-and-Black at the marketing age.It was found that:Large White-and-Black showed significantly highest eIF4E mRNA expression levels of longissimus dorsi muscle,compared with other breeds.The eIF4E mRNA abundant of longissimus dorsi muscle in Lantang was higher than that in Landrace,but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05) ;the expression level of PPARGC-1 mRNA of longissimus dorsi muscle in Lantang was significantly higher than that in Large White-and-Black(P0.05) ,which was also higher than that in Landrace insignificantly(P0.05) ,and the expression level in Landrace was higher than that in Large Whiteand-Black(P0.05) ;the expression pattern of VEGFA and C-Jun mRNA were seemed to be not significantly different among these three breeds(P0.05) .The comparative results indicated that the differential expression of eIF4E and PPARGC-1 may lead to sarcous trait differences among different domestic pigs.
