Abstract

From the perspective of Chinese poems translated into English Versions,the article analyzes how to flexibly apply literal translation and free translation in different ways while retaining the significance,the mood,the charm and the style of the original poems.It is suggested that the English translated versions may not only possess the beauty in music,forms and arts pursued by Chinese poetry,but may keep faithfully the forms and contents of the original poems so as to acquire aesthetic effect similar in shape and in spirit alike.
