On Teaching Culture in Foreign Language Class

Each language is a reflection of its culture and any form of language bears its cultural implication, so it is essential to introduce foreign culture into its language teaching. In the teaching of a foreign language, the relationship between language teaching and cultural teaching can be characterized as mutual influence with one being unable to do without the other, which consensus has been reached by foreign language educators. Based on this notion, foreign language teachers should take advantage of enormous cultural materials and effective teaching approaches to introduce culture into foreign language teaching to promote study interests from students in order to train all-round talents in foreign languages.
