Abstract

This paper aims at analyzing the typical problems existing in foreign language teaching at present.That is,foreign language teaching focuses on the teaching of language points such as grammar and vocabulary,but neglects the cultural background of the language materials.So it is suggested both teachers and students should attach greater importance to cultural input in foreign language teaching.
