Clinical effective observation on two kinds of spray for treating severe oral ulcer after chemotherapy

Objective:To investigate the method and effects of bFGF Spray and Xiguashuang Spray for treating severe oral ulcer after chemotherapy.Methods:41 cases of severe oral ulcer treated in our department since January 2008 were randomly divided into two groups.Group A(21 cases) was treated with bFGF Spray and group B(20 cases) was treated with Xiguashuang Spray.The local symptomatic improvement of oral ulcer after treatment was observed and compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate was 95.23% in group A and 65.00% in group B.The total effective time was(6.70±0.96) d and(9.51+1.28) d in group B with statistical difference between the two groups(P 0.01,P0.05).Conclusion:bFGF Spray is effective to treat severe oral ulcer after chemotherapy and the local symptoms could be obviously improved,which is worth popularizing in clinic.
