Treatment on 42 Cases of Oral ulcer with Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor

Abstract

Objective To study the effect of basic fibroblast growth factor on oral ulcer.Methods 84 patients with oral ulcer were divided into two groups randomly.The treated group including 42 patients was treated with bFGF,which was sprayed locally on the oral ulcer surface;the control group including 42 patients,which was treated only with routine treatment.Results In four days,the effective ratio of the treated group was 97.6%,while that of the control group was 78.6%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05).Conclusion bFGF can treat oral ulcer effectively.
