Efficacy of benazepril combined with valsartan in treatment of early diabetic nephropathy and the impact on the UAE

Objective To investigate the efficacy of benazepril combined with valsartan in treatment of early diabetic nephropathy and the impact on the UAE. Methods In our hospital from January 2007 to January 2012,Among 90 patients diabetic nephropathy, 32 cases of DN patients with benazepril, the establishment of group A, 30 cases of patients with DN establishment of valsartan-treated patients in group B, 28 cases of patients with DN benazepril combined with valsartan, established as group C, compared the efficacy of the three groups before treatment and after treatment 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, the UAE changes compared with before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of C group was 92.9%, was significantly higher than group A(78.1%), B group(73.3%), the difference was significant(P 0.05). The total effective rate of A group compared with B group, the difference was not significant(χ2= 0.348, P 0.05). After treatwent 4 weeks,UAE of three groups was significantly lower than before treatment, and the treatment process UAE continues to decreased until after 12 weeks of treatment most significant declined, respectively, compared with group C, UAE pf group A and group B decreased more significantly(P 0.05). Conclusion Benazepril combined with valsartan in treatment of early diabetic nephropathy has good efficacy, safety, and it can significantly reduce the UAE, worthy of promotion and application.
