Abstract

A multi-residue analytical method has been developed for the quantitative determination of avermectin (AVM), ivermectin (IVM) and doramectin (DRM) in swine tissue samples. The samples are extracted with acetonitrile, followed by clean-up on a alumina column, extracts are derivatied and determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detection. Recoveries ranged from 55%to 75% for swine tissue samples fortified with avermectins ranged from 1~5 μg/kg. The limit of detection is 1 μg/kg.
