Abstract
The character of Matlab and the base means of Matlab/Simulink application in power system simulation are simply introduced.In this paper,the correctness of digital filter algorithms is successfully proved by means of building model and simulation of active power filter,which display that the shunt active power filter based on the theory of instantaneous reactive power function can effectively eliminates harmonic currents and compensates well reactive power.
