Analysis on Government Functions in Market Economy Transformation

Through analyzing the social economic characteristics in transformation of socialist market economy in China, combined with the basic theory of government economic functions, this paper argues that the economic functions of our government in transformation period should be displayed in terms of implementing scientific development view, perfecting the socialist market economy system, advancing the innovation of mechanism in order to improve administrative efficiency, building the government by law, structuring the harmonious society, and offering public service, etc.
