Abstract

The effects of 3 microorganism agents on composting of chicken manure were studied. The results showed that microorganism agents could obviously improve fermentation temperature during early period of composting, change the amount of the microorganism and accelerate dehydration of compost materials and the maturity of composting. The effect of No.1 microorganism agents was the best. The temperature in the compost inoculated with microorganism agents of No.1 arrived at 55 ℃, high temperature persisted 8 days; moisture content was decreased by 8%. The amount of alive bacteria and actinomycete were decreased.
