Abstract

The experiment was to select microorganism agents and to improve the quality of compost during tomato straw and chicken manure composting,by assessing the dynamics of microorganism and the maturity degree among several composts disposed with 3 microorganism agents. The results showed that the addition of microorganism agents significantly promoted the maturing and degradation of organic matte of all compost. There was the highest temperature(52.7℃)and degradation rate of organic matter(34.99%)added with No.1 microorganism agents. The agents could significantly increase bacteria, fungal and actinomycetes count. The pH Values of all composts were neutral(pH approximately 8).
