Abstract

The effects of 5 microorganism agents on composting of chicken manure was studied. The results showed that microorganism agents could obviously improve fermentation temperature during early period of composting, decrease the effects of compost materials on seed germination index, and accelerate dehydration of compost materials and the maturity of composting. The temperature in the compost inoculated with microorganism agents was 5-14℃ higher than that the control at beginning of fermentation.Biological measure showed the time of compost maturity inoculated with microorganism agents was about 5 days earlier than that the control.Nitrogen content in the compost inoculated with microbial agent increased by(1.8)%-16.8% compared with the control.Among the microorganism agents studied, microorganism agents of No.2,No.3,and No.4 were better.
