Abstract
Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Aripiprazole and Aripiprazole combined with Sertraline in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.Methods:43 patients met the DSM-IV criteria for OCD were randomly divided into single drug group(n=21) and combined drug group(n=22),the single drug group was given Aripiprazole, combined drug group was given Aripiprazole combined with Sertraline, treatment for 12 weeks. The efficacy and side effects were assessed with Yale Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale(Y-BOCS) and Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS) before treatment and at the 2nd,4th,8th,12th weekend. Results:The total scores of Y-BOCS decreased significantly at 4th weekend in the single drug group(P0.05).The totle scores of Y-BOCS decreased significantly at 2nd weekend in the combined drug group. The total effective rate of the single drug group was 52.4%,the total effective rate of the combined drug group was 68.1%,there were significant differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Aripiprazole can be used alone to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, but combined with SSRI has better efficacy.
