Clinical effect observation of stroke patients with mental and psychological therapy

Abstract

Objective To explore clinical effect of Stroke patients with mental and psychological therapy,and assess the psychological rehabilitation of depression after stroke treatment. Methods 72 patients with poststroke depression from Aug. 2011 to Jul. 2013 in our hospital and internal department were devided into two groups by means of random number table. The control group(37 cases) was given medication and functional exercise.Treatment group(37 cases) increased in the control group on the basis of mental and psychological therapy 3 times a week,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) and Neurologic impairment score of the two groups of patients before treatment and after treatment scores to determine clinical efficacy. Results The two groups in HAMD scores and Neurologic impairment score before treatment were no significant differences(P 0.05).The two groups in HAMD score and Neurologic impairment score after 1 and 3 months were reduced than before treatment;The treatment group were significantly lower than control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Mental and psychological therapy in patients with Stroke patients and its clinical application effect of satisfaction, can improve the patient's depression and neurologic conditions, promote the rehabilitation of the patient and improve the patients quality of life.
