Abstract

Objective: To investigate the early intervention post-stroke depression on recovery of neurological function. Methods: 96 patients with poststroke depression were randomly divided into treatment group of 50 patients and a control group of 46 patients;the primary disease in both groups for routine treatment and rehabilitation training, treatment group, while drug treatment and psychological treatment.Assessed by the HAMD depression scale, respectively, before treatment and after treatment 1,2,3,4 weeks assessed. Results: The treatment group compared with the control group,HAMD rating scale were significantly improved, the difference was significant(P0.01).Conclusion: Early intervention depression can not only improve mood in patients with post-stroke depression, stroke patients can reduce both morbidity and promoting neurological recovery.
