Comparison of therapeutic effect between risperidone in the treatment patients with first-outset schizophrenia and exchange conventional drugs for risperidone in the treatment patients with schizophrenia

Abstract
AIM To comparison of therapeutic effect between risperidone in the treatment patients with first outset schizophrenia and exchange conventional drugs for risperidone in the treatment patients with schizophrenia. METHOD Seventy one subjects with diagnosis of schizophrenia according to CCMD 2 R and BPRS≥18 were treated. 41 patients with first outset schizophrenia were given risperidone (first outset group). 30 patients with schizophrenia completed treatment risperidone instead of conventional drugs (exchange group). After treatment 12 weeks, we can compare therapeutic efect in every group and between two groups with BPRS and CGI. RESUIT Risperidone in the treatment patients with schizophrenia was effective. The effective rate of first outset group and exchange group was 97 6% and 90 0% respectively, the marked effective rate was 85 4% and 73 3% respectively. CONCLUSION Efficacy of the first outset group significantly better than the exchange group.
