On Basic Concept Concerning the Development of Tourism in the West of China

The paper,after analysing the advantages and opportunity in developing tourism in the western regions,points out some restricted factors that impedes the development of tourism.It points out the basic concept should be:1.forward developing strategy;2.market\|oriented strategy with the support from the government;3.Keeping a foothold of domestic market and opening up overseas market,taking the developing mode of \!resource\|attraction type\;4.combining economic benefit with environmental effect,exploitation with preservation,ensuring sustained and healthy development; 5.smoothing investment channel and opening up capital market.
