Abstract

Objective To determine the content of aloe-emodin,rhein,emodin,chrysophanol and physcion in Xiaodan granules. Methods The HPLC system consisted of VP-ODS column( 250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) with methanol-0. 1% phosphoric acid( 85∶ 15) as the mobile phase. The detection wavelength was 254 nm,flow rate1. 0 ml·min- 1and column temperature 30 ℃. Results The calibration curve was linear over the range of 1. 60-8. 00 μg·ml- 1( r =0.9999) for aloe-emodin,emodin,rhein and chrysophanol,but 0.86-4.80 μg·ml- 1for physcion. The mean recovery was 99. 07%( RSD = 1. 81%) for aloe-emodin,98. 96%( RSD = 1. 07%) for rhein,98. 65%( RSD = 1. 33%) for emodin,99. 27%( RSD = 1. 87%) for chrysophanol,and 98. 33%( RSD =1. 07%) for physcion,respectively,n = 6. Conclusion This method is sensitive,quick and accurate.
