Abstract
Objective To optimize the water extraction and alcohol precipitation process of Herba Gynostemmatis and lotus leaf in Lanshen Lipid-lowering Prescription. Methods Through the orthogonal design method, using total saponin content and dry paste rate as the indicators, the effect of the amount of water, extraction time, extraction frequency on water extraction process and the effect of the relative density of the liquid, the alcohol concentration and precipitation time on alcohol precipitation process were investigated. Results The optimum water extraction process was as follows: 10 times of water was added, the material was extracted for three times, 1 h for each time; the best alcohol precipitation process was as follows: the relative density of liquid was 1.15-1.19, the alcohol concentration was adjusted to 65 %, alcohol precipitation time was 24 h. Conclusion The extraction process is stable and reproducible.
