Clinical Observation on Five-step-manipulation in the Treatment of Nerve Root Type of Cervical Spondylosis

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of five-step-manipulation therapy for nerve root type of cervical spondylosis.Methods:Sixty cases with nerve root type of cervical spondylosis were randomly divided into treatment group treated with self-created manipulation,and control group treated with conventional manipulation,30 cases in each group.After treatment,ADL scores were records.Results:The effective rate was 92.3% and 73.3% in treatment and control group,respectively(P0.05).After treatment,the ADL score was significantly increased(P0.05,P0.01),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Five-step-manipulation therapy is effective for nerve root type of cervical spondylosis.
