Abstract
This paper elaborated the artistic characteristic of traditional Chinese garden,and discussed the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese garden,pointed out that traditional Chinese garden was the art treasure of oriental garden,had guiding significance to development of modern landscape architecture,amd occupied an important position in the history of world architecture.
