Abstract
Traditional Chinese garden has history more than 3 000 a at least,which developed some types in the long history,such as royal garden,private garden,temple garden,scenic spot and so on,as well as Lingnan Landscape,Northern and Jiangnan Landscape with local features,and some gardens with special national style,as Xinjiang,Tibet and so on.In the global tide,various nationality cultures and arts develop towards unified direction.How to form Chinese modern landscape design with characteristics of indigenous natural culture and conforming to the trend of international development is the challege of landscape architects.
