The legal protection of personal information in China

Abstract

In order to provide legal basis for the protection of personal information of the citizens,through analysis of the connotation of the personal information,the personal information protection and privacy protection can not be equated and the law should protect the personal information in various forms.The value of personal information protection embodies the protection of basic human right to achieve,promoting the healthy development of e-commerce and e-government and in promoting the international trade development,etc;China should take to develop an unified personal information protection law as the leading,and taking the advangtage of enterprise self-regulation mode of the personal information protection.The legal protection of personal information in China should reflect the eight principles.
