Treatment of 30 Cases of Diabetic Nephropathy by "Tongluo Yishen Decoction"

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongluo Yishen Decoction in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.Methods Sixty subjects were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 30 cases were treated with Tongluo Yishen Decoction and control group in which 30 cases were treated with Lotensin,with a course of 60 days.The clinical symptoms,urinary protein excretion rate,blood sugar and lipid,rheology and renal function were observed.Results In improving clinical symptoms,the total effective rate was 86.67% in treatment group and 66.67% in control group,P 0.05;there was no significance in reducing urinary protein excretion rate between two groups(P 0.05).In treatment group,blood rheology,blood sugar and lipid were all improved obviously after treatment(P 0.05),with significant differences in comparison with control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Tongluo Yishen Decoction has positive effects on diabetic nephropathy.
