Evaluation on Curative Effect of Iirbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets in Treatment of Essential Hypertension

Objective To evaluate curative effect of Iirbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets in treatment of essential hypertension.Methods The patients were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with Irbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets,and the control group was treated with Irbesartan Tablets.Two groups of patients were medicated 1 tablet per time per day,but the patients with poorly controlled blood pressure were medicated 2 tablets per time per day.All patients were observed continuously for 8 weeks.Results The effective rate of treatment group was 93.75%,and that of the control group was 65.62%.Difference of efficiency between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=7.819,P=0.005).Conclusion Irbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets in antihypertensive effect is good,safe,reliable,compliant and worthy of clinical use.
