Abstract
Objective To study the antitumor activity in vitro of Kanglaite combined with doxorubicin and related mechanism. Methods Kanglaite and doxorubicin were applied on the OS-732 cells respectively or jointly and inhibition rate was measured by MTT assay; The celluar shape were observed with inverted phase contrast microscope and fluorescence microscope; The apoptotic rate was analyzed with flow cytometry(FCM).Results Kanglaite had the effect of up-regulating Fas expression and inducing apoptosis;the inhibition rate was stagnated with 1 g·L~(-1) Kanglaite,if combined with 1 mg·L~(-1) doxorubicin, the inhibition rate was increased obviously(P0.01).Changes of Celluar shape and apoptotic rate also showed apoptosis-inducing effect of joint application, which was much stronger than those of respective application. Conclusions Combination of Kanglaite and doxorubicin show a strong killing effect on OS-732 cells.
