Abstract
A novel hydrogel electrolyte with conductivity at 50 S·m~(-1) was prepared by immersing poly-sodium acrylate/bentonite superabsorbent into an electrolyte aqueous solution. The resulted hydrogel electrolyte behaved like liquid in term of ionic conductivity, and the conductivity of the hydrogel electrolyte mainly depends on the ionic intensity, the pH value and temperature of.The water absorbency of superabsorbent has a great impact on the conductivity of the hydrogel electrolyte. But within certain range of extent, the preparation condition of superabsorbent has a slight influence on the conductivity of the hydrogel electrolyte.
