Repair of partial defect of eyelid using transplantation with dissociated complete layer flap in the body-self eyelid

Objective To repair the larger defect of the upper eyelid using transplantation with complete layer flap in the body self eyelid.Methods The complete layer flap of the upper eyelid of the healthy side was taken to repair the defected eyelid resulting from operation in 6 patients with upper eyelid and the eyelid board gland tumor.Results The flaps in 6 patients were completely survived after repairing,the eyelids of both sides had no abnormalities,the eyelid motion was normal,and the effects of repair were quite good.Conclusion The partial defect of eyelid is repaired using transplantation from dissociating complete layer flap in the body self eyelid.The color,lustre and texture of the flap is similar to that of the partial defect eyelid,and the flap is easily survived,the contour and motion function of the upper eyelid supplying flap changes a little,the patient is satisfied with the curative effect,it is applied to the patient with the defected area reaching near 1/2 of eyelid.
