Efficacy of Ursodeoxycholic Acid Combined with Lidan Huayu Decoction in Treatment of Patients with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA)in combination of Lidan Huayu Decoctioin in the treatment of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC). Methods:60 cases of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with ursodeoxycholic acid. The treatment group added Lidan Huayu Decoction based on the control group. We observed the changes of cholestasis indicators and immune parameters of patients with primary biliary cirrhosis after the treatment. Result:After 4 weeks treatment,TBI,GGT and ALP were decreased in two groups(P0.05)but there was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05). After 12 weeks treatment,TBI,GGT and ALP were decreased in two groups(P0.05)but more significant in the treatment group than those of the control group(P0.05). After 4 weeks treatment,IgG and IgM didn't decrease in two groups(P0.05). After 12 weeks treatment,IgG and IgM decreased in two groups(P0.05),but more significant in the treatment group than those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion:UDCA combined with Lidan Huayu Decoction can effectively treat PBC and improve the biomarkers. This may be related to the immune regulation effect of Lidan Huayu Decoction.
